VIDEO: Off Duty Police Officer Killed In Shelby Cobra 427 Crash

An off-duty Police Officer is dead after a horrific crash where he was ejected from his vintage Shelby Cobra 427. Loud Labs was on hand during the cleanup and was able to speak with eye-witnesses regarding the crash.
“TEMPLE CITY, CALIFORNIA – Los Angeles County Sheriff Department Temple City Station and Los Angeles County Fire Department along with California Highway Patrol Baldwin Park Station responded to a traffic collision with one or two people being ejected out of the car at Santa Anita Ave and Freer St. Once deputies and firefighters arrived on scene they locate a black vehicle that struck the center divider and a light pole. One person was transported to a local hospital in unknown condition. The second person was ejected out of the car and pronounced dead on scene. A witness that was working on his car about a block away, heard the vehicle speed up and then a loud crash. California Highway Patrol Baldwin Park is going to be handling the investigation into the fatal crash. CHP and Sheriffs have both north and southbound lanes of Santa Anita Ave closed as they investigate the fatal crash. “
